This area is called the Sonoran Valley and is now makes Goodyear the second biggest west valley city with 200 square miles. The biggest is Buckeye at 700 square miles. Peoria is proposing development of an additional city library to be located at the corner of 98th Avenue and Lake Pleasant Parkway. The Peoria library is called Camino a Lago and would sit on 13 acres and would include a five acre park. The design for the new library is also consideration because current designs are quite contemporary. The new Peoria Library would include sections for adult/media, fiction for teens and youth as well as meeting spaces, staff offices and a break room.
