Many qualified buyers out there are just super apprehensive about taking the step forward to buy a house. Listening to the "Gloom & Doom" nightly national news is enough to raise the hairs on any American. Most of us were not around during the "Great Depression" and from reading the history about the that period, we should all be glad we weren't. However, I have a great belief in self-fulfilling prophesies that if you say it long enough and hard enough, it will come to pass. So, as of this writing, start talking positive only.

In the Cincinnati area, we have been blessed with a lighter version of what many other areas have found to be devastating. Somehow, we need to get the message out to all of the qualified buyers that waiting to see what is going to happen, could be a big mistake. Yes, the Stock Market is down. but if you are paying attention, mortgage rates are also down. House selection is still great, and if you do your homework you will find there are still many solvent lenders out there waiting for a buyer's call.

Personally, places like California, Florida, and the Carolinas, have always been places I thought I would like to live. But right now, Cincinnati and surrounding areas are looking OH SO GOOD!
