The Colors Of Fall Are Here in Prospect CT Prospect CT is a small town in New Haven County with lots of tree lined roads. They can be a distraction this time of year for the colors of the leaves on the hardwood trees so prevalent in our area. As I was driving near the watershed area of Connecticut Water Co, I stopped to take a few photos of the trees that lined a small pond.

The Colors Of Fall Are Coming We are into very colorful time of year in Connecticut but there is no set schedule for it's arrival. It's all based on the weather and with the amount of rain we have had this year, the colors should pop. For me, the colors seem to be just a bit brighter on a golf course, possibly because there is so much open grass area to allow the trees to stand out a bit more. Hopefully not hiding my ball as well. I fund this shot in a file I keep of shots taken around the golf course. It was taken early morning with the mist coming off the lake due to a severe temperature difference. Through the haze, the reflections of the colors on the trees were still very much visible.
