Schmidt's & Serafines, Inc located at 464 Chase Ave in Waterbury, Ct has been a family owned and operated hardware store since 1924. Two friends started the business and eventually the family merger was completed when sons married into the Serafine's family. The store is currently run by Jeff and Charlie Schmidt.

 
As in the old fashioned general stores, every morning some of the inventory is placed on display outside of the store, just in case somebody may have forgotten what gets sold inside. When you do go inside, you will be overwhelmed with the diverse amount of items available, … (2 comments)
