Do We get Intimidated with a First Look?
I was getting ready to play golf this morning at a course named The Preserve. The name alone set the tone for the course as it is a nature sanctuary with a championship curse running through it. The practice range was set up with island greens for testing hitting distance and accuracy, and anything hit wrong went into the water.
As the course winds through a wildlife sanctuary, 16 of 18 holes have water that needs to be navigated to score well.

That was the final statement sent to me by an agent putting an offer on one of my short sale listings. It was generated out of frustration that my clients would not accept her buyer client’s/husband’s low ball cash offer on the home and sending it forward to the bank. These were the words spoken to me by a client while we were reviewing the inspection report on their intended purchase. They wanted me to make a claim for credits on many items in the inspection that the inspector pointed out as needing ongoing attention for preventive maintenance as well as disclosed items by the seller which was reflected in the price.
An exchange between us found resolution, but only after I had to point out when I was first aware that I was working for them.

I was showing homes in Cheshire CT today for the second day with a client relocating into the area. Not much choice as they are in for a short time and need to see homes so they can make their decision. We were looking at some reasonably well priced homes, and all were well presented.

Today we closed on a 2 bedroom ranch style condo in Heritage Village. Although this is not an uncommon condo in Heritage Village, a complex with over 2,600 units, what made it special was that the unit was under contract in 10 days. Some units in Heritage Village can sit on the market for months.
