Get Ready For a "Taste of Grandville"   The Grandville Education Foundation is hosting the 7th Annual Taste of Grandville on Monday March 3, 2008.  This will be the first one I am attending and I'm really looking forward to it.  I love good food (who doesn't?) and this promises to have some of the best local restaurants serving up some wonderful dishes.      A lot of us here on AR have written posts about how much Downtown Grand Rapids has to offer.  I know there's so many fun and exciting things to do because I enjoy spending time there and would actually entertain the thought of buying a place overlooking the Grand River in the near future.  But recently I was driving and walking around downtown and snapping pictures - tons of them - and it made me really put it in perspective.  There's so much beauty - original old historic buildings and churches, parks including the Rosa Parks Outdoor Ice Skating Rink.  … (13 comments)
