I've been working on the Sale of this Home in Grandville, MI  for over 2 months now and received the dreaded call last night from the Buyer's Agent - The buyer's will no longer be able to purchase the home due to personal reasons.  They are very upset because they had found their "Dream Home".  I showed them through twice at an Open House, once by themselves and once with his parents.  They really loved this home.
It's a nice 3 bedroom ranch with a roomy living room, ceramic tile in the kitchen, dining area with wood-laminate floors and … (8 comments)

grandville: Did You Remember to Return Your Library Book On Time? If Not, It Could Hurt Your Credit Score - 11/19/07 06:18 AM
We all know that not paying your mortgage or automobile loans on time will affect your credit score, but did you know not paying your library fines might be filtering in to hurt your credit?  While researching credit information for a client of mine, I came across this article by Liz Pulliam Weston of MSN Money:  "Wierd stuff that hurts your credit".  Not only that, unpaid traffic tickets might not only end you up in jail, your credit score can likely take a hit, too!
In this all too important age of the perfect credit score (850, by the way) … (21 comments)

grandville: Summer's Still Here in Sunny Michigan - 09/21/07 07:17 AM
I was inspired to write this post as I was driving around recently with my car windows wide open and enjoying our Indian Summer here in Michigan.  I personally have not thought the regular summer was over yet, besides the kids being back to school.  We've had a week or two of cold spells (and even a frost advisory) but other than that the weather has been gorgeous.  Michigan tourism has benefited greatly from this outstanding summer.
I recently visited Grandville's Millennium Park, (owned by the people, operated by Kent County) with some friends for a birthday celebration and a fun, relaxing … (12 comments)
