I'm having an Open House in honor of this newly rehabbed, remodeled and refurbished wonderful 2 bedroom home! I was reading Lola Audu's post today on a simple, nice closing we had yesterday, when midway through the post she mentioned a Mortgage Lender who had come to an Open House I had at this home (Grand Rapids, MI) and "scared off" my one and only potential Buyer for that day.  He arrived outside, child in tow, and intercepted the lady in the driveway, handed her a flyer that he had printed up with my info/picture and his, too, talked to her for quite awhile (I thought he was a RE Agent and this was his client, so I gave … (42 comments)

I had the wonderful privilege of being the guest of Mary Bigelow at the VIP party for the projected Platinum certified LEED Herkelrath Project in Onekama, MI as a kickoff for the Energy Fair. What a blast!!  And what an experience to see firsthand this home (with newly installed windmill) that Mary has written several posts about and to meet the people who put so much time and dedication into this project.  First there is Adam, the Hybrid Guy, and their new trailer which made it's debut. He has such a passion for this home and is so knowledgeable.  He can captivate an audience.The wives (Heidi Bearup and Christi … (8 comments)

Hello AR!!  I'd love for you to extend a warm and wet welcome to Robert L. michigan: My Week in Review - What I learned as a newbie Blogger - 01/29/07 12:35 PM
This is my first week of Blogging and I've learned many interesting things and read several really cool blogs.
Thank you so much to Maureen McCabe for her welcome and invitation to the Welcome Group.  It was nice to receive posts and encouragements and information on other posts to visit. 
Our Broker had a very interesting article entitled "Unmasking the Face of the Foreclosure Crisis" which generated quite a few responses.  This is a very prevelent issue in Michigan - I can't even count the number of foreclosed homes I've shown in the short time I've been a Realtor.  We're dealing with so … (3 comments)
