On the heels of a similar announcement by Fannie Mae, FHLMC (Freddie Mac) today announced a sales promotion for its inventory of foreclosed properties.
The HomeStep Summer Sales Promotion offers up to 3.5% incentive for buyers' actual closing costs on single family, financed dwellings.  You must occupy the home as your primary residence and use the home only as a residence. 
In addition, a 2-Year HomeProtect Limited Home Warranty and discounts of up to 30% on the purchase of appliances are available.

The HomeStep Summer Sales Promotion offers up to 3.5% incentive for buyers' actual closing costs on single family, owner-occupied, financed, residential use dwellings.  Auction, sealed bid and bulk sale properties are not eligible.  In addition, a 2-Year HomeProtect Limited Home Warranty and discounts of up to 30% on the purchase of appliances are available.

Specialty Mortgage Programs for Placer County Home Buyers
One of the great things about being a Placer County Mortgage Broker in addition to a Banker is that I can be a problem solver, offering solutions to buyers who otherwise might be excluded from home ownership.
Most Placer County home buyers are familiar with the most common types of mortgages:  FHA, Veteran's Administration (VA), and Conventional (not insured or guaranteed by the Federal government) home loans. 
Then there are the lesser used but fairly well-known home loans like USDA Rural for Auburn, Colfax, Forest Hill, Kings Beach, Lincoln, Loomis, Meadow Vista, Tahoe City and Tahoe Vista.
