Waterfront Property for sale at Smith Mountain Lake Virginia as of 12/31/08

According to the Roanoke Valley Multiple Listing Service, effective today December 31, 2008 we currently have 450 Waterfront lots for sale here at beautiful Smith Mountain Lake Virginia.

Beware, however, some lots that currently have no water are still considered waterfront because the property line is at the lakes 800' contour. Also, AEP requires 100' of waterfront in most cases to erect a boat dock on the property. (they do make exceptions in some cases but the process may be long and sometimes frutstrating.)
