Attracting clients and keeping them is not easy in a world of big box companies who give the impression that they can do things smaller more personal companies cannot. I am small in a small state and even after twenty three years in the business and in my seventh year of my own company, eDrake, it is challenging to compete. Many sellers don't understand business, let alone real estate. Owning a property gives many a false sense that ownership equals knowledge, they are wrong. They think small and pinch every penny thinking they are being taken advantage of by a market that, for too long, has been slanted in favor of buyers. Since they pay nothing up front for our service, the pricing and condition - the only two market conditions of which sellers have control - are usually left to their expertise.
