AN EXPERT IN ANY FIELD WAS ONCE A BEGINNER!!

If you are a beginner in real estate today, then you have an opportunity to learn the skills of business development and customer service in a much more effective way than agents who were licensed during the boom of the past 6 years.  It's all about systems!  Systems means scripts, checks lists, and repetition and repetition drives learning!  If you work your systems then you will become proficient in the skills that make you successful. Because of your professionalism, the customer and/or client will not have reason to ask you if you're new or question your ability to help them reach their goals.  Often beginners decide that they no longer need to implement these systems after they have reached a certain level of production or success.  NOT SO!!   Do you think that everytime the surgeon remove the tonsils, he makes up the procedure with each new patient, or that Yul Brynner made up the lines every time he performed "The King And I"?  Is a McDonald's cheeseburger the same in Boston as in Seattle?  YES....So, make your real estate practice "system-driven" and do not abandon the great tools you learned when you were a beginner.

 

 

BACK TO SCHOOL FOR AGENTS TODAY!

Do you remember the exictement, anticipation, and preparation that went into going back to school?  In addition to buying new shoes, new backpacks, and new notebook paper, we had to get our immunization shots and  a physcial exam.  Well, in this current real estate market, I believe we need to have an attitude of going BACK TO SCHOOL.  We need to get excited as we prepare for this market of opportunity.   We need to buy new tools, like PC Tablets, new digital cameras, and learn how to use eFax, and have websites that meet the demands of the consumer.  Wouldn't it be great if we could be immunized for negative news and unproductive agents?  Let me know what your best Back to School strategy is for Fall 2007.

Success Starts Now!!  Are you a turkey or an eagle?  All of us want to be eagles or winners, but a very few of us have the discipline to do the activities that lead to success in real estate sales.  If you are not working from  a business plan with specific strategies that you engage in daily, then you are not working up to your potentail in real estate and ultimately will not make the income that you and your family deserve.
