Short Sales and the Economy..................... In my recent Blog post on short sales, I mentioned educating yourself on the process. The process changes everyday. Most agents see short sales as a nuisance but I see it as an opportunity to become a specialist in a growing area of real estate. Ding Dong The Election is done............
It is on the web, newspaper, radio, and water cooler about the economics of our country.  It is a battle of arm chair quarterbacks vs back seat drivers. 
Everyone has an opinion.  My thoughts are not what everyone would agree with or some say I need to be an economic adviser to The President. 
Example of our times.  As a Realtor a buyer was declined a mortgage on a new home while putting over 60% down payment.  This would be there 2nd home and was out of state, but only mortgaging 40%.  " Things that make … (2 comments)

Many people have asked me about the state of affairs in Lexington County with housing. I have came up with some key points that I find interesting. Taking a snapshot of what is happening and with my thoughts
One snap shot would be the entire 29072 area.  Data was gathered from the CMLS. Dates searched was from Jan 01, 2008 to present. In the 29072 zip code. Average Sold Price in 29072 is $224,899 with 809 Sales ( 14% happening in April followed up with 12% in August. Average Listed Price in 29072 is $268,664 with 1,585 listings.
