realtor: Closing - 07/31/08 10:18 AM
I just wanted to update you on my last deal. It is closing today. I am so excited. I was able to help a long time friend, from school, get out of her current living situation, and get a new life going. I am so thankful that she chose me. These are the times that you really love being a Realtor. Times when you are truly helping others, and not out there just to get the next deal. I love seeing people happy and moving forward in life. Funny how a change of sceenery, or town can do that. I wish (8 comments)
realtor: Dreams - 07/08/08 09:08 AM
Here is a short little movie. I think that you all will enjoy it. We are all given dreams when we are born; we are all created unique. No one is just like anyone else. No one is you. You are special, and have a purpose while here on earth. It is up to you to seek it out and to allow yourself to step out and move forward. We we not meant to just get by, to survive this life. It is time to stand up and take ahold of your life. It is time to STOP being controlled by (11 comments)
realtor: Follow the leader - 07/03/08 09:08 AM
You have a strong influence on the thoughts and behaviors of your employees - probably much stronger than you think. Regardless of what appears on job descriptions or in employee handbooks, your behavior is the real performance standard that team members will follow. They'll rightfully assume that it's okay and appropriate to do whatever you do. Why wouldn't they? So it's critical that you set the proper example and desired tone...that you model the performance and behavior you expect from others. Do otherwise, and you're a hypocrite. Ouch! There's no rocket science here - it's pretty simple stuff. Just pretend that everyone (7 comments)
realtor: HOw are we living each day? - 06/24/08 09:04 AM
It seems that as time goes on, we get busier and busier, and we lose ourselves and forget about what is really important in our lives. We get so into the hussle and bussle, and next thing we know, we are in our mid forties or more, and wondering where it all went. Wondering, "what did I accomplish with my life?" When we look back, what do we see? Is there tons of love that we shared in and with others, or is it all a blur filled with some disappointments; but success comes with a price, right? What is success? (11 comments)

I am sorry that if by my deleting blog, I cost any of you points. I was just trying to clean up, but it was the wrong thing to do. But, now we are back in the saddle. realtor: Making a difference in others. - 06/17/08 09:16 AM
Here is a little movie I just came across. It is a great little thought provoker. Too many times, in our day to day, we allow life to take our joy away, and then we try to pass that on to others that we have influence over. We allow circumstances to control us, our feelings and how we treat others. We have to decide that, no matter what is going on in our circumstances, we are not going to be controlled by them, but that we are going to control them. We have to look up, and beyond what is going (9 comments)
realtor: Happy Father's Day - 06/14/08 11:36 PM
I just wanted to drop a quick note wishing all you Fathers a Happy Father's Day. What are your plans for this day? How are you going to spend it? What traditions do you have on this day? Who are you going to spend this time with? These are just some questions that come to my mind. I think that it is very important for us to spend as much time with our family as possible. Afterall, if it wasn't for your wife and children, you wouldn't be a father. I see allot of father's who want to be served on (4 comments)

realtor: Finding Joy - 06/10/08 09:05 AM
I just came across this short movie. I think you all will like and appreciate it. Where do we try to find our Happiness and Joy? Do we keep busy at work, becoming a work aholic? Maybe we bury ourselves in tons of busy ativities, like sports, hobbies, travel, ect... Maybe we just go into our room and become emerced in the TV. Our maybe, we are just so busy that we never take time to look for these. Sometimes we need to get away from the hustle and bussle, away from the job, and just get reaquainted with our spouce, (8 comments)
realtor: I am so excited!!! - 06/07/08 09:41 AM
Even in a down market, someone like me can get a client, show them a few houses, have them fall in love with one, get them qualified in an hour, and now prepare to put in an offer. There is still life in the marketplace! I have a friend from school, who she and her fiancee, want to buy. She emailed me about helping them move to my area. We were able to hook up yesterday, and the rest is history. I am so excited!!! I just had to share and tell others that if it can happen for me, it (6 comments)
realtor: 10 excuses people give for not recognizing others - 06/05/08 09:26 AM
1. I do not know how to rocognize others. The truth is, you have to start somewhere. Even if you mess up giving it, who cares, you tried. 2. I am too busy. We are all busy, but we seem to find time to do what is important to us. Maybe we need to adjust our priorities and move recognition up on our list. And, let's be honest, how long does it take to make a little note, or even just to say, "Thank you." or "I really appreciate you doing that?" 3. No one cares about recognition anymore, they just (17 comments)
realtor: Amazing! American spirit at it's best. - 06/03/08 09:07 AM
The following are some amazing pictures. If this isn't the spirit of America, than I don't know what is. I love the Human Statute of Liberty. I am proud that our fathers were willing to give there all for us to have the freedoms that we do. I am, also, proud of our men and women who are, as we speak, doing the same, by putting themselves in harms way, for us all. May God be with them all and bring them home safe. realtor: What if your home isn't sell? - 06/02/08 10:22 AM
In today's market, homes are taking longer to sell. There is a large inventory in all price ranges. Buyers have a much larger selection of homes, from new and resale, to pick from. This is expected to continue through 2008 and into 2009. Also, you have allot of foreclosures and bank owned homes to compete with. If this is the case, what options do sellers have, if their homes aren't selling quickly? One of the main reasons that homes aren't moving fast is that the home is priced too high for today's market. Our median sales price was down 8.2 % from a year (3 comments)

These cars look so furturistic, but I love the idea. Actually, I have been doing some reading. The idea for the compressed air vechicles has been around since the late 1800's. There were locomotives in the (5 comments)
realtor: Pool Safety - 05/25/08 01:04 AM
Summer is almost here and many people are opening up or getting ready to open up their pools. The following are some safety tips: 1) Make sure that their is always an adult watching the kids. NEVER take your eyes off of the kids when they are in or near the pool, not even for a split second. Kids can drop something, have it go into the pool, and jump right in, not even thinking. Just because the have been to swimming classes, doesn't mean they are "drown-proof." 2) Toys and others play items should be stored away from pool. They (6 comments)
