Charlotte, NC:  The area around the  University of North Carolina at Charlotte  is something you need to know about if you are moving to Charlotte. For the most part it is less expensive on the northside than the southeast side of the county and there are lovely homes and neighborhoods throughout; and it is closer to the high tech companies located off Harris Boulvard.

I have 4 small elementary aged children ages.  I am looking for towns in and around Charlotte that have the best catholic and public schools from grade K-8?
My husband job will be relocating him to Charlotte soon and  I need  to start doing school research.   My kids are currently in an excellent catholic school now and I would like to continue it. Can you be more specific on locations/towns?

It is gorgeous inside and features over an acre of land...plenty of room for a pool... and it is just 5 minutes from one of the best location CHARLOTTE REAL ESTATE.   Close to the best private schools in Charlotte and easy access to upscale shopping, restaurants and employment centers at SOUTHPARK  in CHARLOTTE.
Hard to find this much  land this close to town and to get this quality and beauty at the same time is just a real find if you are looking for HOMES IN CHARLOTTE.

Charlotte, NC:  Recently a property manager told me that rental occupancy was at 99%!  That is a first for Charlotte,  at least in my time in the business...and that's a long time!  So now finding a nice home to rent is becoming a problem and rents are going up! 
So many people are coming here from all over the country. Charlotte, NC:  There is a big boiling pot in Charlotte called the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System.  Currently the pot has boiled over as budget cuts have caused the system to close 10 schools and re- arrange a few more.  Nothing causes more concern or is a bigger source of misinformation than the school system.  I am sure this is true all over the country.  We have an especially checked history here in Charlotte as districts have been gerrymandered over the years  to achieve all sorts of social and economic goals.  We  have some of the best schools in the state...and some of … (0 comments)
