Deserts were Pinapple buttermilk upside down cake and chocolate peanut butter flan.

Few days ago I blogged about that I am going to start some video blogging for 2010. And to challenge myself to keep on track, I started a video blogging group here in Active Rain. I am happy to see that one of our best blogger here on ActiveRain Nestor & Katerina Gasset Realtors® Wellington Florida Luxury Homes had posted a video this weekend on how to video blog on Macbook!

For those of you who does not know where to start or may be camera shy... here are some tips:

1) Maybe invest a SONY Flip Camera - For $200 (some other websites may be cheaper), you can take High definition videos of your listings, yourself introducing the listings, or sit infront of the laptop and record few minutes of your market report.

2) No need to have a script, just be yourself. Have some ideas of what you want to say, but no need to write them down and memorize them. people rather have you be yourself than reading off some scripts that is rehearsed. If you make a mistake, it is fine, it is really not that serious.

3) No one is going to see that extra pimple or wrinkle that you want to hide! If you do two takes, that is plenty, pick one of those two takes! It is unneccessary to take 10 videos or more, the idea is to do short informative videos and post them! You will get better at it.

4) Have fun with yourself. Start taking videos of random things and experiment. Don't be afraid to make a mistake, it is ok to be a perfectionist, but we all know that no one is perfect!
