As an Upper Wet Side resident ourselves, the bookstore Barnes & Noble store at 1972 Broadway was a popular place for Upper West Side residents over the past 15 years. Earlier this year, Barns & Nobles were closed, and the new retailer that will replaced the bookstore will be a department store, Century 21. It will be the second Manhattan location and seventh store overall for Century 21, which also has stores in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and New Jersey.

The Central Park Reservoir - now officially named the Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The Reservoir in Central Park is located between 86th and 96th and covers a full one eight of the park’s surface. The 106-acre water body is 40 feet deep and holds over a billion gallons of water.

We live in Upper West side Manhattan, we are steps away from the Central Park, Lincoln Center, Time Warner Center, Columbus Circle and all the arts and culture of Manhattan New York. This weekend we had a hot Summery weather, the temperature went up to 90 degrees, everyone was out in the park and we took few hours of our day and decided to join the crowde. We went to Central Park and had a great time on the Sheeps Meadow Lawn. It is our urban sanctuary. Here are some amazing photos to share!
