Faery Hunt has been named the “Best Children’s Theater in Los Angeles” by Nickelodeon. They created Faeryland by using their magic with original stories, dancing and songs that will inspire the child in all of us. Palos Verdes AYSO Soccer (Region 10) is changing its registration process a bit. If you have already registered, you are all set. If you haven’t registered yet, when you will register it will be under a “waitlist” with no requirement to pay until a start date has been determined. After the start date has been set, you will receive an email asking you to “finish” registering your child by submitting your payment. The Palos Verdes Art Center had to change it’s schedule this year like so many other programs. They were not able to finish their Spring Term Classes, and the Summer Classes have been canceled due to the public health concerns. However, they have been able to put together “The Summer Show” which will show submissions from the Palos Verdes Art Center’s eight active artists groups.

Earlier this year, the beaches were closed because of the Coronavirus and it truly effected our local residents. The Malaga Cove concert series which has been going on for years, and normally takes place on eight Wednesday’s following the Fourth of July, has now been cancelled due to social distancing. The Palos Verdes Unified School District has had to change directions for its summer school program because of the COVID-19 virus. This year, summer school will be an online program for all grade levels. All summer school programs will begin on June 22, 2020.

Due to the Coronavirus the April 25, 2020, walk in registration has been cancelled, but the May 16, 2020, walk in registration date is still in effect.
