They had experienced the pros and cons in other team sports and firmly believed that youth sports are best when it truly is all about the kids. Each Fall, the Palos Verdes Library District’s Annual Community Art Show invites both professional and amateur local artists to participate. Artists of all ages within the community can exhibit their work throughout the entire library creating a heavily trafficked accessible platform. The exhibit and its opening reception is highly anticipated by the patrons and artists, allowing them to connect in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Earlier this month, Heal the Bay reported that Palos Verdes beaches and coves are again in the current top Honor Roll 2018-2019 list for California. This means that our local waters have received grades of A & A+ during the summer dry part of the year. The Promenade Ice Chalet is offering a Summer Hockey Camp and Ice Skating Camp the week of July 29 through August 2, 2019.
