Are you wondering why everyone is talking about the Lake Norman area?  What's so special about a lake that has thousands of people visting the surrounding towns?  Would lake living appeal to me?

The Lake Norman area has seen a tremendous amount of growth in the last few years.  Residents are moving from the northern states to escape the higher real estate taxes, from the west coast to escape the cost of the homes and the south to escape the hurricanes.   My family moved to the area two years ago because of the cost of real estate.  I was real estate agent in VA, in Charlottesville and then in Winchester.  The cost of homes in this area were significantly lower that either Charlottesville or Winchester.
