Oahu Middle School top rated: Niu Valley Middle School First on Oahu to get "IB World School" designation! Parents review: Oahu middle School kids Life. My 13 year old daughter Sophia goes to Niu Valley Middle School near Hawaii Kai. Recently her school became an IB World School which means that they are an International Baccalaureate school, and there are not many IB schools on Oahu. Niu Valley had to wait 3 years to become an IB school and change the way they teach. Being an IB school prepares kids for future generations with new standards of teaching.
