<p>It looks like the folks at Bellevue Development LLC, a joint venture partnership between Foursquare Properties Inc. and Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust Inc., and Metro government have finally reached an agreement! The mall is projected to start demolition by the end of this year and the new open air lifestyle center should be complete in 2010. It promises more restaurants, a new library and so much more. The two anchor stores, Sears and Macys will remain open during the entire renovation, so be sure to support them!</p>

<p>I was reading the July issue of Realtor magazine and there is an article about a company with an amazing idea! Most of us can not afford a beautiful Million dollar vacation home on a stunning mountain range or a sparkling lakefront, however, now you may be able to! </p>
<p>Grandshare specializes in something called fractional ownership, where you and 4 other people own the million dollar property for only $200K each and you get a little over 10 weeks each to reside in the home or rent it out or do with it what you want! This may sound like a timeshare, and the difference is with a fractional ownership, you actually own the property, where as a time share all you own is the time you spend there. So, with a fractional ownership you benefit when the value of the home increases and at any time you can just sell your share for 1/5 of the total value of the home.</p>

Join me and many other concerned citizens to help clean up Percy Priest Lake. Did you know....200 tons of trash tops Percy Priest's islands, with a hundred times more having fallen to the bottom of the lake! This is the same lake that we go boating in, catch fist from and often let our kids swim in! Although last summer it got so bad they had to post a no swimming sign! So, sad! <br> </div>
<div>So, on Saturday, May 3rd, hundreds and hopefully thousands of volunteers will be coming out to help pick up trash! They will have a recycle center to help sort the recyclables. Big bardges will be collecting the trash! It will have huge media attention and a FREE concert by Grammy winning performer Kathy Mattea! <div>I found this article some time ago and clipped it out, because I loved the originality of the ideas! We all know that paper advertising is a thing of the past, so we have to find new and innovative ways to reach out to people! Here are some of the ideas that were presented by Debbie Tufts, an agent with Keller Williams, in the Atlanta - Sugar Loaf Market Center.</div><ol><li>Purchase 500 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies - Thin Mints and Samoas - from families within your sphere of influence. Then go door to door delivering the boxes. Put a tag on the Samoas that read, "We want Samoa your referrals!" On the Thin Mints, the tag should read "We are mint to be you REALTOR." Cost is about $1500. <br /><br />I think the same thing could be effective with Pepermint Patty's too! Maybe a good Valentine's Day promotion and would be less expensive.<br /><br /></li><li>During the Holiday season, which just passed.....wish I would have found this article sooner! However, I am cleaning out drawers and closets, getting organized for the new year, so you will just have to bookmark this to use next year.<br /><br />Go door to door, hand delivering $1 rolls of wrapping paper with a note that says, "Don't get so wrapped up in the holidays that you forget your favorite agent." Cost is $1 per roll, so you can do what your budget will allow - 15 to 4500!<br /><br /></li><li>In October, Tufts team loaded up a truck with hay bales and pumpkins and rode through a neighborhoos leaving pumpkins beside 200 mailboxes, so clients got to associate a face with their name and they left something of value. Multiply 2 Billion by .42 (the cost of postage), and Americans will spend 840 Million dollars, that's $840,000,000, in postage alone during this holiday season. Any idea where those 2 billion cards (and their envelopes) will end up? Yup, the dump!" <p style="font-family:times new roman; font-size:14px;">I came across a FSBO sign-in sheet and I thought a sign in sheet for what? I guess it could be a sign in sheet that you give to the FSBO homeowner to assist them with their open house. But, then I got to thinking, why couldn't I hold an open house for the FSBO? My husband and I began discussing the logistics of this and wondered is it even legal? I host open houses for other agents in our office all the time, on listings that aren't even mine. So, wouldn't the FSBO open house be the same? You aren't representing the seller, but are merely there to generate leads. If you happen to find a buyer for the FSBO, then all the better!</p>

<p>We are in the process of redesigning our website and are trying to find value added services to provide visitors. I know eNeighborhoods has an association with NAR and the reviews rave about how great of a program it is, but I would like to get some personal opinions from those of you who have used it. Here is what I would like to know:</p><ul><li>If you use eNeighborhoods, please tell me what products you used and what the experience was like.</li><li>Did you offer it to people on your website? If so, is there a way to automatically provide the info to them in real time or do you have to email it to them? Did people have a problem providing their information so you could email or mail it to them?</li><li>Was it a good lead generation tool? When people filled out the info and you followed up with them, did you generate any leads. Also, they sell leads and right now are giving away 250 free leads with a free trial of their product. Has anyone had any success with these leads?</li><li>Have you had any positive experience with any other value added service that may help generate leads, besides IDX?</li></ul><p>Thanks in advance for all your input!
