blackberry bold: If You Ever Needed a Good Reason to Ditch the BlackBerry, Here You Go - 10/13/11 10:11 AM
Yesterday was BlackBerry hell. The funny thing is a week ago I had decided to ditch my BlackBerry. It's almost like I can sense the storm on the horizon before it arrives. You can smell a rain storm approaching, you know. Or maybe I just enjoy good timing. Coincindinky, I dunno.  But when you've got complete strangers in the grocery store coming up to you and asking why you're still carting around a BlackBerry when the Droid is available -- implying that you're living in the dinosaur ages -- it's time to think about a new phone.

blackberry bold: The Worst Thing That Could Happen to a Real Estate Agent - 01/21/10 09:01 AM
What's the worst thing that could happen to an East Sacramento agent? Or to any real estate agent, for that matter? Well, apart from rolling over a guard rail in the rain. Over the last week, 2 vehicles at different locations slid off the freeway while going around a curve and landed on the road below. They survived, thank goodness.

But nothing makes sense about how a service provider such as T-Mobile can pick up roaming charges for cellphone calls one did not make from another country.
Before I left for Viet Nam, I called T-Mobile to arrange for International Emailing. This sounded like such a cool service. For less than $20 a month, T-Mobile promised me that I could … (9 comments)

My husband laughs at Sacramento drivers who, upon leaving the vehicle, turn around and point the key remote at the car to lock it. That's because some people think it works like a TV remote, which emits infrared signals to the TV, but it doesn't. It sends its signal by radio, through the air. So, you don't need to face the vehicle to lock it. Although, I admit that I do look at the car, just to make sure the lights flash, which tells me it is definitely locked.
Hey, where would we be in modern society without our gadgets?
Take … (12 comments)
