sacramento county assessor: Check Out the Hardwood Floors in This Land Park Home - 05/22/10 09:59 AM
Gardening is a great way to reduce tension during my somewhat stressful days. I work out of my home office in Land Park, showing homes in Land Park, Curtis Park, East Sacramento and Midtown. I also list Sacramento short sales all over town. So, you can imagine my days are filled with a lot of activity. Usually, I will take several breaks during the day -- distract myself by pruning bushes or dead-heading roses. It's a great stress reliever. But lately, although my stress level is down, my yard has gotten out of whack. For example, my camellias and orange tree (9 comments)
sacramento county assessor: Sacramento County Tax Assessor is Not Required to Send a Bill for 2nd Half Taxes - 05/14/10 09:53 AM
And yet a third country heard from. Whenever I take a break during my day to pet one of my male cats, it's almost a given that my little female ocicat will come running to demand attention. She's quite vocal about it, too. That's because she rules the house. Which is not unlike many other households shared by humans. The adage is if mama ain't happy, nobody is happy. I keep that in mind when communicating with my clients. Because in any given relationship, there is typically a balance of power. You might think this is sexist but it's not, really. (8 comments)
sacramento county assessor: Dunmore Short Sale in Wildhawk West Village Subdivision in Sacramento Offered at $260,000 - 05/05/10 09:40 AM
Location is everything in real estate but buyers sometimes forget that fact. They get caught up in stroking the granite counters and plush carpeting. Oooooo, is that a Jacuzzi tub in the master? Look. A faucet for pasta water over the stove! They don't notice there's a train running through the back yard, and you can see it because it's 6 feet over the fence line. You can feel the rumble under your feet. I've got one of those in escrow right now. Here is a home in Sacramento located on a cul-de-sac, which is an excellent location. It's just a (5 comments)
sacramento county assessor: Here's an Elk Grove Short Sale With a Creek in Back - 04/28/10 08:26 AM
How fast can a Sacramento short sale agent type a listing? You would not believe the volume of paperwork involved in taking a listing. In fact, some agents don't type listings; they hand write. But when one types as fast as I do, which is about 120 WPM, typing a listing is the only way to go. I write so many month after month that I've finally got it down to a science. Why, I can prepare a listing in about 40 minutes, disclosures and all, down to the printed label on the file folder. While talking on the phone. But (4 comments)

sacramento county assessor: Sacramento Home Sellers Can Fix Inaccurate Tax Records by Calling the Assessor's Office - 03/12/10 08:59 AM
Before I talk about fixing inaccurate Sacramento County tax records, let me ask if you have any idea how much it costs to get an MRI scan? I was shocked. The procedure, which many people are deathly afraid of -- claustrophobia, I imagine -- takes all of a few minutes. My doctor ordered last December an MRI scan of my brain; nothing serious, the results came back fine. The deal is you lie perfectly still on a bed. The bed moves back into a chamber, which sort of resembles a giant front-loading washing machine. Then the MRI scanner whirls, clicks, spins (7 comments)
