In Marianna, Florida there have been 17 residential properties sold during the 3 month period from April 19, 2008 to June 19, 2008 with the average sales price being 145,065.  In Chipley, Florida which is just 20 miles to the west of Marianna there were 5 residential sales with the average sale price being 95,050. 
This area of Northwest Florida is ripe for growth and the prices are very reasonable.  This would be a great place to retire and escape the rat race.  Our area is also affordable for a first-time homebuyer.
