Coquina Sands is located just south of the Moorings and just across from Lowdermilk Park (on the Naples beach). It is the closest community to Olde Naples. Offering single family homes and condominiums, some of which are waterfront properties. With land values steadily increasing so many of the older homes have undergone renovations. Water sports enthusiasts can set cruise from Hurricane Harbor up through Doctor's Pass, and out to the Gulf of Mexico. Most homes are (4 comments)
Last Call for Beach Lovers and Investors - Only 6 left!!
Bonita Beach is the only beach area for Bonita Springs FL. The beach area is a 3 mile peninsula with one main road (Hickory Blvd) with beachfront homes on one side and bay front homes on the other. Hickory Blvd is mostly single family homes - with just over 700 condo units (in 8 buildings). Believe it or not there are only 6 total units left on the market - that is (5 comments)
I think by now we all agree that real estate is local and not national - and Southwest Florida in particular has not been one to follow the national trend. We might have been the first area to suffer from the declining market, but we are also first to recover. Let's take a look at the single family home sales in the Moorings for 2011 vs. 2010. More buyers choose to purchase in the Moorings in 2011 with a 50 total homes sold vs. 45 in (4 comments)
If you are considering a purchase of a home or condo in Naples FL you will have to keep an eye on the new listings if you are serious about finding the right home for you. Some neighborhoods are getting more than their share of new listings, others hardly any in a long while. If you happen to be interested in buying a villa in Bay Villas of Pelican Bay for example, there is 0 listings in that beautiful and very much desirable neighborhood - so we are all waiting for a new listing - if one comes on the market (4 comments)

16th Annual Art Festival in Naples FL - Celebrating the New Year
When: This weekend (Sat. 7th & Sun 8th) Where: 5th Ave S
Time: 10AM to 5PM
The art festival seems to get better and better each year. This year there are 77 first-time artists from as far away as Israel and Canada. 27 states are being represented and I am looking forward to the art, the artists, the musicians, the entertainers and the food.

A picture is worth a thousand words - and it seems from my collection of photos that I must have picked paradise for a home here in Naples. The blue sky always in the background, the Gulf of Mexico a mesmerizing aqua, the vegetation vibrant green or colorful, the homes so beautiful, the wildlife so intriguing, and the sunsets sensational. I like to share my love of Naples. Enjoy.
Even with a little cold spell that passed by the last couple of days, the sky is still that amazing blue and the sun is out.
A Happy Buying Beach Cottage Year. Have you located your beach cottage in Florida yet? If you are like me, dreaming of a beachfront cottage, they soon will be all gone. There are no beachfront cottages in Naples (unless you consider a 7,000 to 32,000 sq ft, $10,000,000+ home, a beach cottage), there are just a few left in Bonita Springs (on Hickory Blvd) and these charming beachfront cottages in Fort Myers Beach area. They are all being replaced by new construction (6000+ sq ft residences), and as much as I enjoy and appreciate the new architectural details, I hate to (3 comments)
