 The Green Hills Condo Sales were down a bit from the previous month. 

Green Hills Terrace and Burton Hills were the top two condo choices for Green Hills homebuyers in the month of November 2009. 
And it's a good thing that they got in while they did, because the month of December in the Green Hills area of Nashville is notorious for its crazy mall traffic!

The numbers are in!  In the month of July 2009, there were 16 closings in the Green Hills Condo real estate market!  Just south of downtown Nashville, Green Hills is a desirable place to reside, with easy access to interstates, loads of shopping, eateries and the infamous Hillsboro Pike, which is constantly packed with traffic! 
Within this 37215 zip district, there are many selections for condos, ranging in price from just over $100K to in the millions for a top-of-the-line pad!

You may have noticed that it has taken me longer than usual to get this report out - please forgive me!  My old laptop died and setting up the new one has taken FOREVER!!!!!!  ARG!!!!  Technology is wonderful, but it is sometimes tricky to figure out the new stuff!

The Green Hills Condo Market turned out looking fairly healthy in December 2008 with 10 closings.  Of course, I use the term "healthy" very loosely, as there are still 91 active listings of Nashville's Green Hills Condos.  And, if you are currently trying to sell your condo and struggling, then this is no consolation to you!  Anyway, here are the closings:

So I FINALLY went to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch a couple of weeks ago.  When I had seen it previously, it was always packed out and I HATE to wait for a seat!  Anybody else out there with me on that one?
Anyway, I had a Thai Crunch Salad, which is probably not the "right" or "best" thing to get there.  Here is the description of it - Shredded Napa cabbage, chilled-grilled chicken breast, julienne cucumbers, edamame, crispy wontons, peanuts, cilantro, julienne carrots, red cabbage and green onions tossed with a lime-cilantro dressing. 37215: Asian Fusion the Pei Wei Way - Nashville's Green Hills Newest Asian Food! - 12/13/08 04:50 PM
I think that once upon a time I ate at a Pei Wei Restaurant in Southern California.  But this Asian restaurant has also made its appearance in the Middle Tennessee area - I know there is one in Brentwood and Murfreesboro, most likely in other areas as well.
The Pei Wei that I am writing about is in the new Hill Shopping Center, just across the way from Whole Foods in Green Hills.
To me, it's just a standard Asian fusion type of restaurant and you can get something quick for around $10 in Nashville, which is nice.

It is an ABSOLUTE PRIVILEGE to write this blog on Shalimar!!!
Shalimar is an Indian Restaurant in the Green Hills area of Nashville, Tennessee.  I have been eating at Shalimar for well over ten years and am totally in love with the place!
One of my Indian friends swears that it is actually more of a northern Indian / Pakistan type of food place - me, I wouldn't know the difference!  All I know is that they regularly serve up some of the yummiest ethnic food in Nashville!

And, of course, it really should be, given the listing price range of $634,000 to $1,128,000.
