I graduated from Reedsport High School, attended classes at Lane Community College, Graduated from Portland Business College, then attended NW Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho.

One of my favorite jobs was as private secretary to the Personal Representative of Meier & Frank & Company where I was in public relations working with the fashion shows, Rose Festival Float, art shows, company picnics and birthday parites.  It was a glamorous position and taught me about color coordination, dressing well and having poise.

I've always been a singer.  Sang often for weddings, funerals, church and such.  I do some chalk art mainly to tell a story with the picture.  I like oils but don't spend much time at that.  I would like too.  I like to read and do a lot of that in spare time, mostly inspirational.  I do freelance writing and have sold a number of artlicles to places like Coronet, Today, Herald of Holiness, Moments With God, Oregon Coast Magazine to name a few.

 I am a water dowser (also known as water witch).  I don't understand the ability unless it is a gift from God.  I have a lot of electricity in my body and maybe it has something to do with that also.

 For over 20 years, I took foster children in my home and that was a rewarding experience.  I've always had enough love to go around and didn't neglect my four children from birth that I still enjoy even though they are grown and out of the home.

 I was widowed five years ago.  My husband was a minister and we enjoyed 18+ years together before cancer took him.

I grew up on a dairy farm east of Siltcoos Lake near Florence and have great stories to tell of my wonderful childhood.

I like to fish when given the chance, picnic, camp, travel, pan for gold and be an adventurist.

I feel very blessed with good health, a loving family and great friends.  I have a strong faith in God and a personal relationship with Jesus my Saviour.
