As a rookie agent and a newbie to Active Rain, I want to use my very first blog entry to say "Thanks" to an old friend, Tim Maitski.  Tim and I met each other through a BNI group in Atlanta, but I was in corporate housing sales then, so we haven't seen each other for awhile.  Local mortgage officer, Brad Teaver, invited me to join ActiveRain, and when I saw Tim's picture (#1 ActiveRain agent in Georgia), I wrote him a note.  Tim encouraged me to start blogging and took time this morning to meet with me, explaining more about all the features of ActiveRain and sharing his experience in the Atlanta real estate market.
If you're a rookie like me, I hope you will seek out an experienced agent to encourage you and share some tips and tools of the trade.  And, if you're a veteran like Tim, I hope you'll take a cue from him and offer to help others be successful.  As the BNI motto states, "Givers Gain"!
