Should We Keep the Ozzie & Harriet Bathroom Tiles?
We've been called in to stage a vacant home that has had very little updating since the 1950's.  While that brings some bonuses (like the hardwood floors in good condition under the ratty carpeting), we're wavering in what to suggest for this bathroom.  There is a tremendous amount to do both inside & out and of course budget is a great concern.  Vintage charm is evidently pretty popular in this particular neighborhood so we want to consider that too, (i.e. great original crystal doorknobs).
Our options are to suggest that the homeowner replace the tile, sink, etc.  Or, we have a company that re-glazes tiles and bathtubs and we could go white...or do we play up the vintage and go with the mint green tiles (brown & white towels?) and maybe make a cute skirt around the sink?  Of course we'll paint the pepto bismo walls!    Our first gut reaction was to go with the vintage, but I thought I'd put it out in the A/R universe for some other opinions.
