Lazy Hazy Summertime in Morris Cove New Haven CT
We have definitely hit the dog days of summer over the past couple of weeks with the high temperatures and humidity we've been experiencing along the Southern Connecticut shoreline.
The cool ocean breezes that flow through the neighborhood of Morris Cove in New Haven CT has helped to lessen that heat and humidity to a bit lesser degree.
This evening my husband and I took my granddaughter to Lighthouse Point Park so we could watch the beatiful sunset this evening and take in the sights of a few boaters and jet skiers near the boat ramp.
There is nothing more serene and peaceful than watching a beautiful sunset on a warm summer evening.
Boaters cruise along the New Haven Harbor with a beautiful backdrop and calm waters.
The park closes at sunset and after a day of fun in the sun jet skiing it's time to go home.
 
One last glimpse of the sunset before calling it a day.
