The AR 1.5 Minute Sale (Roanoke Virgnia Style)
I had my first referral from Active Rain a couple of weeks ago.  Scott Strang from New Hampshire had a childhood friend of his moving to Roanoke Virginia from Florida.  To protect the innocent I will refer to Scott's friend and my new client as "J". 
I met J about two weeks ago when he flew into Roanoke Virginia to interview for his new position.  It just so happened that J was going to be working for one of my good friends and current real estate clients (he has a house listed in Botetourt VA).  J only had a couple of hours to look at homes in Roanoke the day of his interview but we ran by and into a couple in the time we had allotted and he was off to Florida. 
I set J up in an IDX portal for Roanoke Virginia where he was free to search the MLS and find what he was interested in, mark what he liked and disliked and then email me the list.  When Scott and J flew into Roanoke Virginia at 1:30PM Thursday we had 26 houses in Roanoke and Botetourt to look at and we looked at all 22 ... more
