Real Estate Technology
I'm currently in the process of working on our Graduate Realtor Institute Curriculum for the Florida Association of REALTORS.  The work group I attended in August was quite interesting as one of the members stated that Technology was not important in teaching the fundamentals of real estate.  He even went so far as to state that there was a percentage of customers/clients surveyed by the National Association of REALTORS that stated that they weren't concerned that their REALTOR was unfamiliar with technology. 
I'm curious. 
Does technology matter? 
We are facing a major refocus on our livelihoods wherein our clients and customers are looking online for places before they even contact a REALTOR.   Our newest clients come to us from a world where they grew up in front of many digital aides in their lives.  Many of our average REALTORS are not aware that today's students are spending more time online learning than they do in an average classroom.  Most of our 20 and 30 year olds have spent their leisure playing video games and researching the majority of their master's and doctor's dissertations using the world wide web!
