Is Facebook the Death of the Family Christmas Card?
I have been on Facebook since 2007--of course back in 2007 I think I had about 5 friends of which were real estate agents in my company that friend-ed me (and, of course, are much younger and tech savvier (sp?)).
In the past year, my friend count has gone from about 25 to over 500 and I even have a fan page! I have reconnected with most of my close high school, college, after college, neighborhood, real estate and local friends. It has been a blast. Year round we are posting photos of our kids, pets, listings, parties , achievements, sports, you name it-I even had a friend post her recent hair hilites....
So here is the dilemma-do I send out my usual annual family Christmas card with smiling pets and children to my friends and family?  Do I send a card to my sphere? My usual witty family letter was a hit in the past.  But now I put witty updates in my status, post pics of my pets killing things, post pics of my daughter in a Halloween costume (Ok, it was PG rated, she's 14) post pics of my husband in various parts of the world (he's an ... more
