Book Review:
Socialnomics: how social media transforms the way we live and do business, by Erik Qualman

While I haven't finished the book yet, I wanted to write this first review to encourage others to get a copy and jump in! This is a fun read, very easy to understand, and full of examples to explain the points made and ideas presented. 
Those of us interested in Social Media (and who among us on Active Rain isn't??) are aware of how brilliantly the Barak Obama campaign used Facebook, Twitter, YouTube to engage with people, and one chapter is devoted to that. In that chapter, I learned fascinating information about Google Insights and how companies can use that information to make strategic decisions about choosing marketing words and phrases.
Every chapter so far has brought "ah ha" moments to me, and I'm sure there are many more to come--a future post!
This book is a must for anyone in business (REALTORS?), anyone doing marketing of any sort (REALTORS?), or anyone who wants to stay in touch with the world at large in a more effective way (REALTORS?)
