When a prospective buyer is looking for a new home they aren't just looking for a different home. One of the easiest and cheapest ways to present a home as a new home is by touching up the paint. Sherwin Williams has a new technology called computer matching that makes touching up paint a snap. Simply take a sample larger than a quarter into any Sherwin Williams store and they will create a quart of that same paint. A little Spackle and an 89 cent brush and your done.  Simple things like putting a fresh coat of paint on the baseboards can give that appearance of a new paint job without the cost of a full repaint.
