 Sell your home now to cash in on tax incenntives. Buyers only have 97 days left for the home buyer tax incentives.  January is the new spring season for real estate.  What you say?  It is cold, rainy, snowy.   All true, but first time buyers and repeat home buyers only have until April 30 to get into contract.  With many homes taking 90 days to sell the time is NOW. 
Homes currently on the market in Franklin, TN (not where this picture is from) total 886 with 20% of them just coming onto the market in Janaury.  Get packing, and get your home on the market.  If you are selling you may qualify for the repeat homebuyer tax credit and receive the $6,500 credit.  If this is your first home....then there is the first time homebuyer tax credit up to $8000.
