Friday, January 29-Sunday, January 31. Columbia Home Building and Remodeling Expo. This comprehensive and expansive home show brings together homeowners and many of the most knowledgeable and experienced remodeling and building experts. Professionals will be on hand to share their valuable knowledge to bring your ideas to life or inspire you with new ones. See the latest innovations and design trends. Experts will be showcasing everything for the home including, but not limited to the latest in cabinetry and countertops, flooring, sunrooms and additions, basement finishing, waterproofing, smart home automation, energy efficient windows and exterior products. Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Friday | 2-8 pm, Saturday | 10 am-8 pm, and Sunday | 11 am-6 pm. Cost is $4 for adults and children under 18 are free. Thursday, February 4. Daddy Daughter Date Night. Young ladies and their dads or grandfathers can enjoy this special date night together. The evening includes a candlelight dinner followed by lots of dancing, a memory photo and a goody bag. Space is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance. Ages 4-adult. $45 for couples, $20 for individuals. Crooked Creek Park from 6-9 pm.
