Some Things Never Change.
Banks. I have often been critical of banks and their role in the housing crisis not to mention the economic disaster we find ourselves in. I understand there are some banks (local and community) that try to do the right thing but the overall banking industry itself trys to squeeze the very life (not to mention the $) out of every situation they endeavor in the name of profit. I will never begrudge anyone from "making a dollar" but when will the millions of Americans who have lost their jobs, homes and dignity be the primary concern of our institutions-I mean, really be the primary focus? There have been many players responsible for the economic situation we find ourselves in but the people that can have an impact continue to put themselves first. And yes, I understand the stockholder angle. Check out the following links to see what is still happening out there. The first one will really make you crazy!
