Ribbon Cutting and Open House for the New Urgent Care Center in Murphy, NC

We attended the open house for the new Murphy Medical Center Urgent Care Center from 2-4 p.m. today.  Tuesday, March 30, 2010 will be the official first day open! The new facility is not only gorgeous, but offers much more space for the walk-in emergencies, x-rays, labs and the family practice facility with Murphy Group Practice relocating from Medical Park Lane. Dr. Glendon P. Rougeou, a board-certified family medicine practitioner, will hold office hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Family nurse practitioner Kay Hayes works with him. A second doctor, Dr. Dana Conner, will also be joining the practice in the new facility in June.

Hours for the new Urgent Care Center will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Look for the new Urgent Care Center in the big log cabin on the corner of US 74 and Ledford St.
