Realtors Celebrating: Today's "Business Buddy" meeting
I'd like to take a moment to introduce you to a commercial real estate agent, Sandra Martin, one of the stars of Grubb & Ellis Company, San Jose, California. While working all of Silicon Valley, Sandra specializes in the towns of Sunnyvale and Mountain View, representing tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers. She and I have a business alliance we've dubbed "Business Buddies." Our fields are closely enough related that the trends one sees is valuable for the other to know, yet separate enough that we are never in competition. Having a business alliance like this is huge, and one we both cherish. We function as goal setters, accountability partners, and brain stormers for one another, and a deep and cherished friendship has developed over the years. We meet every 4 to 6 weeks, and occasionally, like today, celebrate our successes and hard work with a day in San Francisco, a place near and dear to our hearts. After a beautiful drive along the coast today, we took a hike along the Coastal Trail from Land's End to the Palace of the Legion of Honor, where we enjoyed an hour or so viewing the Cartier exhibit.
