The Knolls was built in 1981 and has a total of of 191 ranch style units. You can navigate to The Knolls by Route 347 to Nicolls Road. This pet friendly North Shore residence offers a clubhouse, pool, bocci, shuffleboard, bingo, bridge club, and social events.
The Knolls at Stony Brook are all 1 level Ranch style floor plans are attached in groupings of 6 or 8 homes.  Most of the residences are 2 bedrooms, but there are some 1 bedroom units in the community also. There is central air conditioning, electric heat and a garage in all the units.  According to public records, in 2009 there were sales at The Knolls from $250,000 to $290,000.
