My Dog is a Danger To Herself
My dog, Stella, chews anything and everything. I had to replace a leather sofa when she buried a piece of rawhide between the cushions, dug it out, ripped the seams, and chewed out the stuffing. She's chewed and buried my reading glasses a few months ago. My daughter has lost about 5 pairs of shoes this year-- we've learned to put shoes high on a shelf by the door. My cat has gone hungry - apparantly Stella likes tuna and salmon - who would have thought? We've lost Jenga blocks - taken right off the kitchen table while in play. I lost my dinner the other night - I left it on the island to answer the door and it was gone when I returned. I've followed a trail of toilet paper chunks from the powder room to the front door several times. She ate her own hairbrush once, there was evidence for a week in places you don't even want to know about.  But, today turned from slightly commical to scary, when I reached for my thyroid medicine that I keep on the kitchen counter far out of reach, and discovered it missing.
