Be Thankful for the Little Things!
This blog was inspired by a really good friend of mine who is in the Army, serving currently in Iraq. 
It seems that life is tough for alot of people right now.  Getting laid off, closing their business, illness and even death.  Life is not easy to live.  Times are hard and it seems the harder we work, the more we need to work just to make ends meet.  And alot of the time our ends never meet.
But in wanting to complain about ends not meeting, hours cut at work, groceries and gas getting more expensive, and why there was no response to my email......... I began to think about what I do have that others don't have the option of.  Especially my friend Jose.


I have my home to return to every night.A TV with 20+ channels to watch when and what I want.A pantry with food available anytime.A hot shower in my own bathroom.A grocery store just 5 minutes away.Go to a movie and have popcorn with butter.Take the kids and my friends bowling.Attend the church of my choice on Sunday.My own car to drive when needed or for an afternoon drive.My kids to hug and talk to ... more
