OKAY SO IT'S HOT IN ARIZONA
Yep, it is summer time, temperatures are hovering around 100-113 degrees.  The faint at heart are fleeing the Sonoran Desert cities and looking for cooler temperatures in the high country - or heading back East and even to the northern costal areas.
It is true it does get hot when living in Arizona, however you learn how to adapt and adjust, just as you do in any city in the United States during the summer months.  You are in your air conditioned house, car, office, etc., nothing unusual about that.  Granted you don't park your lawn chair in the center of the sidewalk while sipping a cup of coffee during the months of June-August, however with a little shade and a cool drink, you will do just fine. 
With Arizona having over 110 lakes this couldn't be a better time to pack your cooler with sandwiches and cold drinks and head towards the lake.    As you travel the winding roads to the Lake as shown in the photo
