Mountain Home, Arkansas Market Report 6/01/2010 to 6/30/2010  The numbers were actually a bit surprising to me this month!  I had expected a bit of doom and gloom.  I really do need to quit listening to the national news.
Mountain Home is the largest segment of our entire MLS system here in the Mountain Home, Twin Lakes area.  I will use the numbers reported by the Mountain Home MLS System for Mountain Home

More sales this year than last year.  More Volume in '10.  Average Sales price was down 6% for the year.  The tough part for sellers of course is the lesser prices...But for a buyer that is encouraging news...Prices have come down some.  The number of homes on the market right now is up 9% over last year.  Great news for prospective buyers...More to choose from, ... more
