I Love Roses But Not The Thorns
I walk every morning that I don't have clients. It is very unusual to see roses in Naples FL because of the heat and humidity. But, lo and behold, I saw a rose bush this morning and was admiring it. I just had to sneak in and get close enough to see if Florida roses smelled as wonderful as Pennsylvania roses. As I was leaning over to take a sneaky sniff, my hand caught a thorn. It was really early (people still sleeping)so I tip toed away hoping no one would see my grimace or hear my Owwww !!!!
Lesson 1:Clients = Roses.  They may look really pretty unitl you get too close. Sometimes they aren't right up front with you about their ability to buy a house you've just put an offer in on for them (even though they had a pre-approval and you had great conversations with them before they flew to Florida). I rarely have clients "thorn me" but on occasion I have been stuck by them and learned from it....and I try not to let anyone see me grimace.
