What? A Business Card for Marketing
I had a very interesting day today. I was called yesterday to come see Mr. So and So who had two very high end condos on Gulf Shore Drive in Naples he wanted to list. Yesterday was a day I wanted to forget. Got up early felt awful 9fever, aches, chills) . So when his call came in I was not my usual self and simply got his name, telephone number, address and time to meet- none of my usual chatting.  When I arrived and we had that it's nice to meet you conversation I couldn't wait to find out how he got my name. We all spend time and money on marketing and I love to hear how wisely (or not) I have spent my marketing money.
Are you ready for this? He simply said, "your business card was in a pent house (listed for sale) I visited". What's funny is I know there are a lot of showings on this property because it's one of the lowest priced of it's kind and there were no other cards there. My thought at the time was that the listing agent had probably picked them up, which may have been the case ... more
