Market Report: Cedarwood Chesapeake Virginia
Cedarwood in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake, Virginia has long been a solid neighborhood in a desireable school district where high quality homes can be found.  Cedarwood contains condo-ownership homes on the Cedar Road side of the development and fee simple homes as you explore further north in the neighborhood. Cedarwood is located off of Cedar Road and is marked by wide streets, several man-made lakes and lovely winding streets. Most of the homes within the Cedarwood subdivision are two story, however, a few ranch homes dot the neighborhood  Exteriors in Cedarwood are typically either brick or vinyl siding, with a few EIFS exteriors, and many have spacious front porches.   Cedarwood does not have Property Owner Association dues, although it does have an active homeowner community.  On pleasant days, you can see people enjoying the outdoors by taking walks, jogging or riding their bikes around the neighborhood.  
Cedarwood has had a few foreclosures over the past two years.  However, homes in Cedarwood have maintained their value rather well, despite the economic difficulties in the housing market.
