I Showed My New Listing to Five Buyers, and I Got Five OffersThis was a bank owned home. It an area of Seattle called Beacon Hill. Isn’t that a nice name? Beacon Hill?Gives the picture of being a shining light, calling people to itself.The listing was priced well, and has nicely remodeled kitchen and baths. However, it needs a lot of work at the same time.I did my regular frenetic amount of promotion, and the offers started rolling in. And the calls came rolling in.I was to show it to one family at 5:00 pm on Sunday. By the time they were all there, I counted 11 people. Talk about doing things in community!Another family wanted to see it at 6:00. They came with mom and dad and sister, as well as the first time buyer couple themselves.Then someone came off the street.A realtor came showing their client.Another couple came off the street.Finally a neighbor came over to see what was going on.Eventually I had 5 offers. (None of them mine)And so far I have showed 5 sets of buyers. None of my buyers decided to make an offer.But at the end of one week, I have shown 5 buyers. And ... more
